The balance between classiness and unrestrained energy in this image is perfect and is paralleled nicely by the contrast between the warm colors in the house and cool colors on the street. Reminds me of The Overtones' version of "Sh-Boom": [link]

Looks awesome! Is it for cartoon animation project or a comic book? I really dig your style of drawing.

May I ask: What's your inspiration in general? Do you walk through the streets and try to memorize the light and the colors you see?

Not really... we don't have these buildings here... this is from my memories of growing up in France( and going to college there too).
My main inspiration is my family, my life experiences, the emotions i feel on a daily basis, etc etc.
I use what I see, hear, feel, taste, smell to create the images I post here... and, in general, for my work... I do the same thing.

Awesome colours to create the mood of the drawing. Really like the contrasts of the activity inside and the calm of the outside, also the warm yellow colour for the buildings interior and the cool blue for the outside. Great work :iconpascalcampion::iconthumbsupplz:

Isn't the party on the third floor? Unless the ground floor is considered to be the first floor.
The light and colours coming from the window make it look like it's one hell of a party that's going on up there. Great job.
Cheers.

On the fourth floor if you are in the states.. but on the third story if you are in Europe.. I always found it very confusing when I moved to the states.
The ground floor was called the 1st floor...which makes sense actually..since it IS the first floor in the building... while the stories,as we refer to them in France starts ABOVE the first floor... I think..

We call it the same way as in Europe down here in South America. But I admit there's some sense to it being called the way they do in the US.
See you around, mate.
